About us

Who are we?

The Macedonian Association of Rescuers in Ski Resorts (MZSS) is a volunteer and non-profit organisation dedicated to safety and rescue in winter conditions.

Our team consists of trained rescuers who respond to incidents at ski resorts across the country. We regularly organise training sessions to raise the standards of rescue operations.

Join us

How to become a member?

Any adult citizen can apply for training and become part of the MZSS team. The process consists of 5 steps.

Application
Fill in the application form during the open recruitment period.

Selection
The committee reviews applications and selects candidates.
3
Training
First aid, cable car evacuation and 7 days of field training.
4
Exam
Final exam before a three-member committee — first aid, rope technique, skiing.
5
Rescuer
After passing the exam you receive official status — MZSS Rescuer.
