Committees

The Medical Committee is responsible for all aspects of medical preparedness and intervention within MZSS. It ensures all members possess the necessary medical knowledge and that emergency protocols are up to date and properly applied.

• Oversight of first aid standards for all members

• Updating medical protocols and procedures
• Inspection and maintenance of medical equipment
• Communication with medical services and hospitals
• Injury assessment and medical triage in the field

This committee specialises in the techniques and protocols for safely evacuating passengers in the event of a cable car malfunction or emergency. It regularly organises drills and maintains rope techniques at the highest level.

The Skiing Committee sets and maintains skiing skill standards for members, conducts assessments when advancing through patrol categories and oversees the safety and marking of ski runs.

This committee manages the public image of MZSS, media and public communications, social media and event organisation. It also handles logistics for equipment, transport and administrative tasks.
